It’s our first brewery and Cotswolds pub tour this coming Saturday the 6th of June and it’s something we’re most excited about!
We’ve teamed up with Purity Brewery and the Golden Cross in Ardens Grafton to provide a day that includes a brewery tour in the morning, lunch at the Golden Cross and a visit to two Cotswolds pubs in the afternoon.
The tour begins with a pick-up from one of four locations; Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Warwick Parkway station – where the pick-up and drop off times coincide with trains to and from London and Birmingham. The cost is £55 which includes your transport all day, brewery entry, lunch and at least two beers.
By having me behind the wheel you can enjoy a beer in a selection of fantastic pubs without the need to drive yourself and as the drop off times at Warwick Parkway coincides with trains back to London and Birmingham it’s a tour that you can enjoy even if you live outside the area.
I’ve been fortunate to travel to some fantastic parts of the world and enjoy similar tours in some beautiful parts of the world – Stellenbosch in South Africa, Mendoza in Argentina and The Marlbrough region in New Zealand to name but three. On each of the tours I’ve had the opportunity to see the area, sample the local drinks and eat a great lunch with a designated driver. Sound familiar?!
Well, that’s exactly the sort of experience that we’re now offering visitors to our part of the world! We’ll show you the quintessentially English area that we live in, you’ll get to taste locally produced beer and eat homemade locally sourced food.
