At Go Cotswolds we’re signed up with a website called Sum All. If you’re not familiar with what they do they gather data with regards to your social media streams and e-they mail you a rundown of the stats on a week to week basis. We use it for our Twitter page and it tells us how many people you follow, how many people follow you, quantity of tweets etc. etc.

It’s all interesting information that enables us to compare how active we’ve been on Twitter from one week to the next.

The reason I bring this up today is that this morning it informed us it’s been just over a year since we signed up for Twitter – so happy Twitter birthday to us!

This I found quite significant as it gives us a bit of perspective on the journey we’ve been on over the last 12 months. This time last year we had a name, blog and Twitter feed.  This year we still have that but we also have a minibus tour company that takes visitors from Stratford-upon-Avon on day trips of the Cotswolds!

Something we’re pretty proud of.  So far we’ve taken over 200 visitors to Stratford-upon-Avon on tours of the Cotswolds from 29 different countries and received over 20 five-star reviews on Trip Advisor. This ranks us #7 for activities in Stratford-upon-Avon amongst some pretty big established names.

In addition to this we have 1,073 followers on Twitter which is up from 17 that we had this time last year!

We love using social media as it’s a free, easy and informal way for us to stay connected with the people that come on our tours and for us to connect with other local businesses.

So if you don’t follow us already then please do so. Links to our social media streams can be found below. We promise not to inundate you with updates and we aim to put at least one picture from every tour that takes place up!
