Our unique Christmas in the Cotswolds tours are a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the festive spirit, while at the same time exploring one of England’s most enchanting regions. Over several weekends in late November through to mid-December, we’re hosting a selection box of seasonal tours, each one just a little bit different!
Join us to get your Cotswolds sightseeing fix, while at the same time visiting some of the smaller, authentic, truly local and fabulously festive Christmas events across the Cotswolds.
On Saturday 7th December, our Christmas in the Cotswolds Tour visits not one, not two, but THREE spectacular Christmas events in just one magical day!
We’ll explore the charm of Winchcombe, soak up the festive cheer in Chipping Campden, and revel in the bustling holiday atmosphere of the Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Market. Enjoy a day filled with sightseeing, shopping, delicious food, and plenty of holiday spirit as you journey through these enchanting destinations.

Here’s a detailed look at what you can expect on this extra-special tour this Saturday!
Pick up times and locations
09:50 – Pick-up from Stratford-upon-Avon
We’ll collect our first guests from the Shakespeare’s Birthplace Coach Terminal in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. This is the perfect starting point for anyone visiting Shakespeare’s home town!
It’s also handy if you’d like to take a day trip by train from Birmingham. Simply catch the West Midlands Railway service from Birmingham Snow Hill or Moor Street to Stratford-upon-Avon, and our pick up point is just a short walk away.
10:30 – Pick-up from Moreton-in-Marsh Train Station
Next, we’ll meet our final travellers at this bustling Cotswolds gateway. Whether you’re staying in Moreton-in-Marsh, or taking the train from London Paddington, Reading, Oxford, Evesham or Worcester, the railway station at Moreton-in-Marsh is very convenient!
When we’ve gathered all our passengers, we’ll head off to our first stop.

Your perfect Christmas day out in the Cotswolds will look something like this:
11:10 – Winchcombe (2 hours)
Kick off your festive adventure at the Winchcombe Christmas Festival and Market! Explore 40 charming stalls, browse unique gifts, and marvel at the enchanting Christmas Tree Festival inside St. Peter’s Church. It’s the perfect way to soak in the holiday spirit in this lovely Cotswold town.
13:30 – Chipping Campden (2 hours)
Next, we head to the beautiful town of Chipping Campden for its delightful Christmas Market. Stroll the historic streets, shop for festive treasures, and enjoy the lively holiday atmosphere in this picture-perfect town.
15:00 – Stratford-Upon-Avon Christmas Market (2 hours)
We wrap up in grand style at the magical Stratford-Upon-Avon Christmas Market! Wander through a sea of twinkling lights, explore an array of festive stalls, and treat yourself to the comforting scents and flavours of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts. There’s no better way to end your day than in this historic town steeped in holiday charm!
Getting home
If you’d like to travel back to Moreton-in-Marsh we’ll depart Stratford-Upon-Avon at approximately 18:00.
We’ll get back to Moreton-in-Marsh by 18:30, so if you’re taking the train back to London, Reading or Oxford, you’ll be in plenty of time to grab a coffee before the 18:55 train home.
