Our unique Christmas in the Cotswolds tours are a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the festive spirit, while at the same time exploring one of England’s most enchanting regions. Over several weekends in late November through to mid-December, we’re hosting a selection box of seasonal tours, each one just a little bit different! Join us to get your Cotswolds sightseeing fix, while at the same time visiting some of the smaller, authentic, truly local and fabulously festive Christmas events across the Cotswolds!
This Saturday our Christmas in the Cotswolds tour will visit the gorgeous Chipping Campden Christmas market. Here, you can shop ’til you drop and soak up all the Christmassy charm of this most beautiful market town.

Pick up times and locations
09:50 – Pick-up from Stratford-upon-Avon
We’ll collect our first guests from the Shakespeare’s Birthplace Coach Terminal in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. This is the perfect starting point for anyone visiting Shakespeare’s home town! It’s also handy if you’d like to take a day trip by train from Birmingham . Simply catch the West Midlands Railway service from Birmingham Snow Hill or Moor Street to Stratford-upon-Avon, and our pick up point is just a short walk away.
10:30 – Pick-up from Moreton-in-Marsh Train Station
Next, we’ll meet our final travellers at this bustling Cotswolds gateway. Whether you’re staying in Moreton-in-Marsh, or taki
ng the train from London Paddington, Reading, Oxford, Evesham or Worcester, the railway station at Moreton-in-Marsh is very convenient!
When we’ve gathered all our passengers, we’ll head off to our first stop.

12:25 – Bibury (30 minutes)
As part of your magical Christmas journey with us, we’ll be spending 30 enchanting minutes in Bibury. Bibury is one of the most iconic and picturesque villages in the Cotswolds! Known as “the most beautiful village in England” (thank you, William Morris!), Bibury is a feast for the eyes and the soul. Snap stunning photos of Arlington Row—those famous honey-coloured cottages straight out of a postcard—or simply take a peaceful moment to soak in the charm of this historic gem.
13:30 – Stow-on-the-Wold (1 hour 10 mins)
Get ready to explore the charm and history of Stow-on-the-Wold, one of the Cotswolds’ most iconic market towns. With its bustling market square, unique independent shops, cosy tearooms, and picture-perfect streets, there’s so much to love about this beautiful destination.
Make sure to visit the famous St. Edward’s Church with its magical “door to Narnia” (or is it from Lord of the Rings?) and so
ak in the enchanting atmosphere of this historic town. Whether you’re grabbing some lunch, snapping photos, or simply wandering, Stow-on-the-Wold is a must-see!
15:00 – Chipping Campden Christmas Market
We end our Christmas journey in spectacular style at the magical Chipping Campden Christmas Market! Enjoy a festive afternoon with the
Christmas lights switch-on at 16:30 which is going to be huge this year due to the appearance of none other than Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper who will be turning on the lights! Don’t miss this!
After that enjoy the array of stalls filled with Christmas produce and there will even be a visit from Father Christmas himself! Whether you’re hunting for unique gifts, savouring delicious festive treats, or simply soaking in the joyful atmosphere, Chipping Campden will leave you feeling merry, bright, and full of holiday spirit.

Getting home
We’ll depart Chipping Campden at approximately 17.15. This will give you plenty of time to explore the wonderful market, so you can enjoy the entertainment and really soak up the Christmassy atmosphere!|
We’ll get back to Moreton-in-Marsh by 17:45, so if you’re taking the train back to London, Reading or Oxford, you’ll be in time to catch the 17:56 train home.
It takes around 30 minutes to get back to Stratford-upon-Avon from Moreton-in-Marsh. So, for those needing to return to Stratford-upon-Avon, plan on being back at around approximately 18:15. Your heart will be filled with Christmas joy and your camera full of gorgeous Christmas memories!
