You may or may not know that when we’re not touring the Cotswolds on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays we moonlight as Alcester Minibus Hire.

It’s the same minibus with the same Go Cotswolds livery we just call ourselves a different name and have a separate Facebook page!

The licence that we have (a standard national PSV Operator’s licence for all you coach and bus aficionados out there!) enables us to operate a minibus for private hire and, provided we stick within the industry rules and regulations, we’re available to do this on all other days and evenings.

Our minibus is a 16-seater which is ideal for group travel for anything such as airport trips, parties and family gatherings.

Naturally, this time of the year we’re busy taking people to their Christmas parties. We’ve already taken the Alcester & Stratford District Round Table to enjoy the Frankfurt Market in Birmingham and tonight we’re taking the BDR Jets netball team to their Christmas get together at Ettington Chase hotel.

Our 16 seat minibus is the only vehicle that we operate so, unfortunately, this does mean that we don’t offer a taxi service with a smaller vehicle as well.

The prices that we quote are incredibly competitive for a legal operator of that size vehicle in this area and the prices are for the hire of the whole vehicle and a driver.  This is irrespective of the amount of people that travel so, basically, the more people that travel the cheaper it is (up to a maximum of 16 passengers of course..).

We’re very flexible and when we quote we’re aware that the majority of times the return journey most people want to be dropped off as close to their respective homes as possible. Don’t worry, you won’t get an angry driver ramping up prices when this is requested. It’s only me driving the minibus after all!

Provided that the drop offs aren’t a huge distance away from where the original quote was back to, we’ll drop you home for no extra charge (use 5 miles as a rough guide). Even if there’s a couple of drops, we usually do one job an evening so it’ll only add a small amount of time to our day. All that we ask is for you to let us know as much information about the job as soon as possible.
